Diving into the short-term rental (STR) market can be both an exciting opportunity and a venture filled with questions. 

I can still remember the exact moment my first listing went live. There was butterflies in the stomach. I was scared that no one would ever find the listing, let alone actually want to book. I had over a dozen people telling me it would never work. 

That feeling when the first booking came was electrifying. The notification came through and it was like I was a child on Christmas morning again. 

Then the second booking, followed by the third. 

I did everything I could to offer a stay that people would remember. I made sure no stone was unturned. 

At this point, I’m not going to lie. It was also a lonely process. A grind at times. But I was determined to stay the course. My fuel was the wonderful reviews that just kept flowing in. 

Over time, I was able to slowly figure many things out. I was also able to meet other owners and even some superhosts. Their expertise was like having a well trained guide who had dedicated their lives to the craft they were teaching. They just didn’t have a system. 

Like a great chef, all their recipes were in their heads. 

So I went on a quest. A quest to simplify the process, yet make listings jump off the page and provide quests with experiences they will never forget.
